  1. Well you can troll me, but am I the only one to find it ironic, that the US who are saying that diving is the reason they do not like the sport, has Jürgen Klinsmann as national coach?

  2. heyho007 I think you are wrong. ‘Die Mannschaft’ started a new style of soccer play in 2004 and this happended to start with Klinsmann…

  3. With or without klinsman the US still doesn’t play football…poor team.

  4. Don’t expect the US mens soccer team to play like Germany lol. Becaues Germany’s players are way ahead. The development comes from the league in Germany, and they started a new style since 2010.

  5. Really GREAT interview…and, while I may not agree with everything Jurgen said, I’m more of a fan of his now than before & was one of his biggest supporters, when the USMNT head job became available!!

  6. I thought the interviewer did a great job.. maybe a little nervous at first but I cant blame him because Jurgen is a legend but after a few questions I thought he knocked it out of the park..the only question I felt that he didnt ask was how Jurgen felt after getting off to a slow start and being booed.(but i guess thats not really important) all and all… Great job… Great interview…

  7. Dude knows the game, and the player, inside and out… He’s been there and done that… We are lucky to have him as our coach.

  8. Does anyone else think the interviewer is an idiot? Good interview from Jurgen though.

  9. one of the very best interveiws i have heard from any coach. Jurgen isnt far into his coaching career but he is already speacking like he is 20 years into it. The US NT are a very lucky bunch that he has decided to take that job. The players couldnt have a better role model.

  10. Very positive interview to all us soccer. JK will take the US far and will be a huge part in the future of US soccer.

  11. Does anybody feel like Bruce Arena should watch this? I feel like he could take a few notes on when to let his players go. Landon Donovan needs to pack his bags and get out of the MLS while he can, he’s done everything (and won everything) he can possibly do here and needs to take the leap now.

  12. Jurgen’s biggest influence on U.S. soccer will not come from the manager’s bench, but from his influence of developing talent and a style of play.

  13. May this be a helpful message to the U.S. men players and help them to go farther!

  14. Thank you USsoccerdotcom to bring now the nearly fully original NSCAA Convention Interview with Klinsmann, which is not only a great one for understanding about Klinsmann’s concept of comprehensive vision but also about his sometimes in detail made tactical decisions.
Go USSoccer and go Jürgi! You both will finally make it …

  15. Thank you Jurgen Klinsmann and U.S. Soccer. This interview has provided an unbelievable level of insight into Jurgen’s thoughts on many different elements of coaching and U.S. football. I can’t thank you enough Jurgen.
